WE DID IT!! Seven years in a row the Trinity Women’s Swim team has been victorious at Conference. Conference 2010 took place in Louisville Kentucky February 18th through the 20th. The women’s team had season and life time best performances. The meet was a massive success, everyone pulled their own weight and we came out on top in the end. Renee Ulrich a graduating Senior had life time performance, she placed second in the mile, and had top eight finishes in the 500 free and the 200 back. Ana Price a freshman has top eight finishes in all her individuals. I myself had life time best performances, I finished first in my 400 IM and then second in the 200 FLY and third in the 200 IM. I was very happy and excited with how the team did. We must though thank the women divers. Without them we would have not won the meet. On the one and the three meter we had seven Trinity Women divers in the top eight. Haley Emerick won both the one and three meter in the diving competition. Giving Trinity a lead on our biggest competitor Depauw. In addition to winning races we had numerous kids obtain National B cuts, which is a big deal in the swimming world. Overall Conference was a very exciting and full filled week.
